Michael J. George

Michael J. George, an icon in metro Detroit and a pillar in the Chaldean community, passed away June 24th, 2014 at age 81. He was one of the most recognizable and revered businessmen in Michigan, best known for his humility, responsiveness and making deals with a handshake instead of a contract.

As many know Michael George was a man who cared so much for others and the community, in light of his longstanding commitment to charity, in lieu of flowers or food the family requests that donations be made to the Michael J. George charity.
